Garrett College Athletic Alumni
Garrett Community College officially opened its doors in 1971. The college hired Dennis Fearnow to head up the athletic program. Dennis Fearnow coached the first teams at the college: men’s basketball and baseball. The first athletic team took the court in 1972, and the athletic program has grown to what it is today. In 2002 Garrett Community College became known as Garrett College.
